ABOUT ME *

I am Mai Nguyen, an aspiring Brand Manager and a fresh graduate from SMU.

With experience in regional brand marketing and retail activations, I help businesses enhance market presence, through integrated campaigns, and consumer engagement initiatives.

Beyond my professional work, I am dedicated to building the Vietnamese community in Singapore, help to create networking opportunities and connect Vietnamese individuals.

EDUCATION

I recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, majoring in Marketing, from Singapore Management University (2021–2025).

During my time at SMU, I served as the Marketing Director for Chao Vietnam SMU and for the Regional Case Challenge (UOB AEI–SMU), and was actively involved in SMARKETING – the SMU Marketing Society.

In 2023, I completed a semester-long exchange at the University of Melbourne, where I studied E-commerce and Digital Marketing.

MY EARLY CAREER

I started my career in Digital Marketing. During my first two years at university, I gained hands-on experience working with startups and SMEs, freelancing, and taking on projects through my CCAs.

As I progressed into my third and fourth years, I developed a deeper understanding of marketing and business, allowing me to see the bigger picture and approach challenges strategically. This led me to shift my focus toward Brand Strategic Planning and Activation.
